Have you always wanted to learn how to paint in watercolor, but didn't know where to begin? 
Have you taken "beginner" classes at other schools only to be told to "start painting" and grouped in with advanced painters, leaving you discouraged and confused?  We can change that.

Relax, refresh and recharge your creativity and discover the joy of Watercolor painting In this 1.5
hour weekly class!  Here you will learn how to paint with Watercolors in a relaxing and easy to follow, step by step teaching method that we've successfully used since 1998.  Techniques you will learn include color mixing,  underpainting, wet on wet, glazing, dry brush and other watercolor techniques and styles as you complete several paintings over 6 weeks.   

After completing this class, you will be able to begin to work on your own projects at home and attend some of our other classes and workshops for additional guidance, learning and advancement.  High School /College students also welcome.

At Arts Alive in Nanuet, you will learn how to paint with Acrylics in a relaxing and easy to follow, step-by-step teaching method that we've successfully used since 1998.
Techniques you will learn include color mixing, underpainting, various painting and blending techniques as you complete several paintings including still life and landscape over 6 weeks. 

After completing this class, you will be able to begin to work on your own projects at home and attend some of our other classes and workshops for additional guidance, learning and advancement.  High School /College students also welcome.

We have students that drive to our classes from Westchester, Orange, New Jersey and Rockland County.  Because we consider your safety first and foremost, please rest assured that you won't have to drive in bad weather
or miss any classes due to bad weather!

We ALWAYS postpone classes for bad weather, ice, snow or freezing rain
and continue the classes the following week!
