Beginner Watercolor Class Supply List:
These are the supplies we recommend:
(This brand happens to be a good substitute for Arches Blocks at a much lower cost) (If you don't purchase this now, we will supply you with free heavy duty watercolor sheets for the class projects)
(You can also use regular masking tape from the Dollar Store)
From Home and Dollar Store:
Mechanical Pencils
1 Standard Ruler
Paper Towel Roll
Cotton Balls (just a handful)
2 clear Plastic Food Storage containers for water
Make Up Q-Tips (about 20) - if you can get them from CVS or Walgreens (One end flat and other is pointed )
A carrying case for your supplies
FREE SUPPLIES PROVIDED: We will supply you with a free sheet of plexiglass, a kneaded eraser and a rubber cement pick up and several sheets of heavy weight watercolor paper for painting in class (unless you purchase the optional watercolor block.)

We use all of the above supplies in Open Studio and the Instructor provides FREE SURPRISE BONUS ART SUPPLIES for students to use in the class and at home! We definitely recommend ordering a Watercolor Block for use in the Open Studio Session Paintings, but you will continue to use your Watercolor Pad for practice and preparation (value and color studies, etc) prior to painting.
