Irene's artistic journey began amidst the vibrant landscape of New York City, where she spent her formative years. In 1980, she planted new roots in Rockland County, where she worked for many years in marketing, publishing and graphic design. In 2004, she had carved out a haven for creativity—Arts Alive Art School and Studio in the Garnerville Arts Center. There, Irene passionately imparted her knowledge, offering classes and workshops in Drawing, Watercolor, and Acrylic.
In 2008, Irene curated an exhibition that transcended the conventional boundaries of art—The Healing Power of Art. Here, she unraveled the intricate threads that connect color, imagery, and our well-being. Recently, the desire to revisit these profound concepts rekindled within her. This time, she sought to elevate her artistic expression by infusing it with the exquisite beauty and positive energy of natural gemstone crystals—a testament to Irene's unwavering commitment to evolving and transcending artistic boundaries.
